The Walking & Biking Trail in Greeneville, TN

After much searching, I have yet to find the official name for this path. Yet I wanted to highlight it here on my blog for those of you who enjoy a scenic walk. Greeneville's walking path starts at Doak Elementary School at 70 West Street and continues along the Tusculum College campus and around the Tusculum Baseball Stadium. I have been told it's approximately 5 miles long yet I have not verified that information. It crosses Hwy 107 by footbridge and continues along some of the area's nicest neighborhoods. Some beautiful scenery is seen from the trail and it is all paved, providing a solid surface for biking, walking, or jogging. Bikes, but not pets, are welcomed on the path. Recent pictures of the Greeneville/Tusculum Walking Path are below.

Shortly after publishing this entry, I was contacted by a gentleman who graciously informed me that this trail is officially named the Tusculum Linear Park Trail and is approximately 4 miles long.
Thank you, Brian.
