Archie Campbell Days 2009 Festival - Bulls Gap, TN

Chris Monday as the character "Ernest T" from the Andy Griffith show.

Stoney Creek Cloggers

Phil Campbell, Archie's son.

Archie Campbell (1914 - 1987) was a great comedian, recording artist and entertainer most known for his appearances at the Grand Ole Opry and on the show "Hee Haw" as the barber. Campbell was from Greene County, TN but he routinely told the world about his hometown Bulls Gap, a name that by itself usually drew a chuckle. Every year Bulls Gap, TN holds a festival in his name and this year I got the privilege to go. I hope you enjoy the photos and if you are ever in Bulls Gap, TN this time of year, it's definitely worth a visit.
